Our client is exploring options to extend their existing facility in Scandinavia. Three option sites have been identified as having potential to support a further three hyperscale facilities and Jubb are providing Civil, Structural and Ground Engineering advice to support the acquisition.

The DD work was split into two distinct phases. DD1 focused on the big-ticket items, enabling the client to prepare an early-stage business case for the purchase. High level spatial coordination, reviewing geotechnical information, outline levels design with preliminary cut and fill led to the identification of further areas of study.

DD2 is currently in progress and represents a deep dive into the suitability of the land. Using in-country support as part of the Jubb supply chain, we are currently undertaking a major ground investigation to allow full understanding of the ground engineering challenges. This work will be used to develop detailed ground models, rock blasting plans, test fits and abnormal cost plans.
