The development consists of 450 residential units that will be served by a primary spine road, SuDS features and two new signal controlled junctions. Both new junctions involve partial dualling of Gallows Hill and Europa Way (A452). Jubb worked with Gallagher Estates to establish earthworks, infrastructure and drainage strategies for the site and identified how to overcome challenging topography to provide surface water attenuation for the site whilst also conforming to public open space requirements.

Jubb produced detailed design of the primary spine road and associated infrastructure through the development to meet the local authority and water authority’s adoption requirements. The steep nature of the site resulted in significant re-modelling of earthworks in lower lying areas to accommodate a detention basin adopted as public open space. This involved diverting the Tach Brook Tributary which was detailed by Jubb to gain approval from the local authority.
