Jubb have completed Civil, Structural and Ground Engineering design for the delivery of a 30,000 sqm hyperscale data centre in Scandinavia in excess of €100m.
The project was managed using a mission critical approach, with deliverables being issued to strict deadlines. Jubb took the lead on the coordination of below ground infrastructure utilising Civil3D connected to Autodesk BIM360. Similarly, 3D structural models created in Revit were utilised for the main buildings, trestles, retaining walls and external slabs for equipment.
A complex system of trestles and pipe bridges were detailed to carry critical utilities above ground. Jubb led the spatial co-ordination and structural design to best manage the challenging topography and the client aspiration to use a modular system. A late client change to look at a modular system.
