Staff from our Cardiff office welcomed the opportunity to visit the live construction site of the new 25-storey student accommodation block as part of the Capital Quarter Regeneration Scheme in Cardiff. The visit gave staff the opportunity to witness some of the on-site activities and to gain further insight into sequencing of construction in addition to health, safety and temporary works.
ISG appointed Midwest as their concrete subcontractors who recommended precast concrete columns as a saving for both programme and costings. Jubb undertook the precast design for Midwest.
