Primary Schools from Swansea each sent a team to Cefn Hengoed Community School to take part in the STEM ‘Beat The Flood’ Challenge.
Elizabeth Side, Structural Engineer from our Cardiff office, acted as a member of the judging panel to help decide an overall winner.
Children were required to work in groups to plan, design, build, evaluate and present a design for their model flood proof home to test. Every entry had their own unique design concept and were brilliantly put together and presented.
